This Privacy Policy explains how Denbo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you use our website, iOS and Android applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It applies to features available in the version of the Services you use.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Account information: Your name, email address, login information, and profile details.
- Household information and content: Household names, memberships, invitations, shared plans, grocery lists, tasks, reminders, notes, messages, acknowledgments, and other information you choose to provide.
- Communications: Information you provide when contacting us for help, sharing feedback, or asking about Denbo.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, usage activity, and error or diagnostic information.
- Notification information: Device notification tokens and preferences when you enable notifications.
Please share information about other people only when you have permission to do so.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the Services; create and manage accounts and households; deliver shared content and reminders; respond to requests; understand and improve functionality; protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and meet legal obligations.
If you use an optional message modifier, the text you submit is processed to provide that feature. Review the resulting message before choosing to send it.
How information is shared
Information you add to a shared household or conversation may be visible to the members or recipients associated with that feature. Other recipients may retain copies of information you share.
We may also share information with service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, storage, communications, support, and technical infrastructure providers, as needed to perform those services.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of our business. We may also share information at your direction or with your consent.

Backup copies may remain until removed through normal backup cycles. Deletion does not remove copies independently retained by other recipients.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
